RNS 810 Sat Nav Update Problems

Featured Replies

  I just bought a sat nav update disc for my RNS 810 unit in my 2010 Superb - it failed to load so I then paid an extra £15 to get the same update on an SD card this is now on a permanent cyclical load/reload , never end, never apparently completing - and I cannot stop it , even by removing the SD card and the CD Rom driving the process - I have tried the soft reset option and I can hear the drive clicking momentarily before returning to the update process - most frustrating - does anyone know how to hard reset this unit perhaps - or any other ideas to stop this process and get back to at least sing my radio again - though I fear the update must now go via the dealership and the associated costs - but apparently web sourced updates are not worth the saving after all !!

I guess you mean an RNS510 rsther than the 810?  Send it to me and it'll be a cheaper fix than the dealers.
