Any recalls for the 1.4TSi ACT Se L Exec

Featured Replies

The car goes in for it's first service tomorrow and the dealership said they will pick it up.

When asked if it'd take long as last time it was less than an hour and we sat at the dealership while they did it and if we could just pop in at an arranged time and then take it away afterwards were told that it wouldn't be possible as there was a recall on the car.

However no such recall exists for the car or it's VIN.

Is this just the dealership being an arse.

Apparently they won't be leaving a car either. So two people will drive down, one takes our car and the the other person, the car they came down in, then later. Two cars will come down and both people will leave in one car leaving ours with us.

It just seems like a stupid way to do things.

I gave the car a full clean so they don't touch her with their sponges, brushes or chamois (((shudder))).

EDIT: Apparently it's the driver's side door chrome trim but mine is in perfect condition.

So no 'recall' action but a Skoda recognised issue.
