The DAB reception 99.9% of the time has been working flawlessly, however over the past couple of days I've not had any DAB coverage or very intermittent coverage.

 

Unscrewed the ariel and put that back, can now only get BBC radio stations via DAB no local or none BBC stations are being picked up. Anyone else had issues with their Amundsen Sat-Nav DAB reception?

We had problems with the Nav on our 2016 car which were put down to water ingress in the aerial base.  A known issue apparently which led to a new 'modified' base being fitted.

Mine has been flaky over the weekend in Suffolk, Norfolk, Cambridgeshire, Huntingdonshire and Lincolnshire.
I put it down to atmospheric conditions.

The last few days have not been good for DAB reception. There is a phenomena known as "bubbling mud" that affects DAB under certain conditions. It sounds exactly as the description! 

The signal levels have been marginal resulting in this effect and signal drop out.

Hopefully the ionosphere will repair itself and all will be well again for a while!
