The other week whilst using carista (paid version) I stumbled over a setting for the alarm. I can't remember the exact words but it basically set the alarm if the car was left unlocked for a few minutes.

 

Great option to enable I thought so I enabled it.

 

Truth be told it's a right pain in the rear especially when cleaning the car. Open the door and the alarm goes off and I'm the frantically looking for my keys. 

 

So I went back into carista the other day to disable this feature and I can't find it anywhere? I'm still using the same device with the paid version on, so I know it's not a software issue.

 

I ahve a friend with vag com, and he did say if I can find the setting/code he would change it for me.

 

So first of all is there anyway to reset the alarm settings? I've reset the conveniance mode on the hidden menu on the dash and it's still the same.

 

Secondly any ideas where it might be in carista.

 

Finally anyone know where it might be in vag com.

I had a look in the latest version for my model year but couldn't find the feature.

Try putting your your model year in and search for the feature.

Had a look under my year and still can't find it.

 

Looks like I might have to play with vcds.

 

Anyone know what parameters I need to change?
