How difficult is it to find something on you tube to show you how to replace headlight bulbs???

Very easy, why don't you just google, "how to change octavia headlight bulb". 

Thanks for that. Loads of videos on the older models and Xeon lights. Nothing on a 2014 octavia. Just don't want to force anything.. Looks like a visit to the garage is on the cards..

If it's a Mk 2 FL then the headlights need to be removed. But not too difficult to do.  I did mine 3 or 4 times.Search the Octavia forum and iirc there are photo sequences of the job.

If it is a Mk3 then it looks much easier with only a cover to remove to access the bulb. I think the owners manual shows that.
