just had a new tyre fitted on insurance & they have fitted a pilot sport 3 driver front . passenger front ready for a new on I usually get michelin pilot sport 4 from costco at around £100 fitted . i know the matching tyres across an axle rhetoric. Is it that important .I am trying to find a pilot sport 3 for around a £100 pound to keep them matching but if not would a sport 4 make any difference to the handling

The 4's are a notable step up from the 3's. I'd be looking to get a matched pair tbh.
