New Skoda Owner

Good evening everyone,

 

Due to changing job in January, I had to buy my own car to cope with the daily 108+ mile round trip while also being big enough to cope with my little boy's pushchair. The Octavia vRS ticked all the boxes and finding a great deal on a '56-plate hatchback with only 37k miles, I have thoroughly enjoyed the 4,500 miles I've covered with it so far. It is comfortable, munches the motorway miles with ease and has a bit of power when needed.

 

There are a few little tweaks I wouldn't mind doing but apart from that, I'm looking forward to a long relationship with this car.

 

I just wanted to say hi to the Skoda family!

I got a petrol as industry wide complaints of DPF repair costs and proposed tax changes didn't inspire much confidence. We're hoping to move by the end of the year so my daily mileage should drop to around 40miles/day. We'll see.
