All the car firm bosses are looking at how to cut costs and plants.  Fiat already produce the cheaper models in Poland but models like the 500 like probably take a dent in sales with BREXIT.  The tie up with Mazda looks like a more promising financial arrangement and they need to move to properly cheap countries although even their Serbian plant has not been running at full capacity.  Turkey is already there and doing OK but with generally lower demand they need another winning product after the 500.   They seem to be a bit behind on the electric race.

Even with the Pope's help they need something more....(small car second back, bet there was thousand of extra sales due to the Pope using a 500 in the US tour)

Car Companies need to make volume cars in the cheaper labour places.  Sadly not Oz any more, or maybe not in most of the EU, just the luxury brand will survive.
