swapping bolero head unit

hi all new to the forum and owning a octavia 2010 vrs tdi which i must say loving it need some help i am wanting to replace the bolero radio with a erisin android 6.0.1 unit which gas a panel size of 220mm /130mm /210mm the bolero is 260mm / 130mm / 210mm so i take it i need a new fascia suround  as there will b a gap but cant getany joy from local skoda dealer and cant find 1 within the uk has anyone come across this and found a fascia any links or item numbers to helpmany thanks kev

You can get the Androids with 256mm that drop straight in without fascia. Search Erisin 3026s, it's a 5.1 but can be upgraded to 6.

ok thanks i have gad a look dont really like the design on that model lol any 1 on the fascia surround trim ??

The android units usually either take the bolero surround or the Columbus surround. My superb had the bolero so I took it out and fitted an ASure unit, this required the Columbus facia trim which was about £25 from a dealer.

hi yes i found that but the price tag isn't cheap chris thought about 25 quid from skoda but i need the part number as they are no help

I have a Superb so the facia on mine wouldn't fit an Octavia. But I can't imagine there being much difference in the price between a Superb and an Octavia...it's only some plastic at the end of the day,
