After all of my VRS faults and Dealer issues......

Featured Replies

..the PCP is almost up and I have decided to keep it.

After two leaking water-pumps, a broken sound-generator, a drivers seat that doesn't always stay fully locked in-place (and still not fixed after 3-years and numerous Dealer attempts), a faulty clutch peressure-plate (long story elsewhere), a stupidly plastic oil sump that was ripped apart by a pebble (wife's fault), and more rattles than a rattle, I actually rather like car and cannot think of anything more practical for my needs.

The most positive thing about it being 3-years old is that I will never have to take it to a Skoda Delaership again, or listen to them trying to renege on a valid warranty claim. Saying that, the Dealership who gave me nothing but hassle have lost their Skoda franchise - obviously a bit too late for me but others will be saved.

I admire your perseverance with your VRS. I voluntary terminated my PCP on my Polo because the car was a pain in the rear with all its warranty issues. I am not sure if I would have kept the Polo if it had been okay because the intention was to keep it many years. I now have an Octavia which hopefully will be all the car I will ever need.

I have kept mine but that was in no small part down to three years almost trouble free motoring and a great local dealer.
