Another thing...

Is there anything available for the purpose that you can spray into all the fitted plastic parts joints that will stop all the creaking from the dashboard?

Things like the air vents and around the dials creaks on mine in hotter weather.

Maybe something like PTFE / silicon lubricant?

It drives me nuts...

Bit smelly that WD... I usually push the noisy bit about until it stops, but not usually for very long.

A hammer... don't temp me! I'm not quite at that point yet with the motor

Apologies of this is the wrong place to ask... please feel free to send me in the direction of anywhere more appropriate.. My '72 plate Mk IV is just coming up to 80k miles. I can't find a service schedule for the car, but hear rumours of a 40k DSG oil change... Can anyone point me in the direction of service schedules, please? And, as a follow up, my local dealer doesn't seem to have a briliant reputation, and to be honest I'm half inclined to look for an independent anyway; where's the be

So, Today we started installing and wiring the radar sensors. Since it's the facelift rear end, we installed the OEM bracket for the 2Q0 radar sensors. At the same time, we installed the tow hitch. The mechanical part is mostly finished; the cables are in the trunk and all that's left is to route and connect everything inside the car. Coding is also required, of course. A few photos.

Hello people, I got a 2011, VRS a few days ago. Primarily for a long trip. Seems decent so far, but I want to add power, music and just get things working. I have a few issues/questions.
