Bolero (gen 1) and iPod/iPhone via USB

Featured Replies

Hi!

Mi friend has an Octavia Mk III 2015 with Bolero and he can connect his iPhone to the Bolero and it plays music.

His VIN decoding:
UI4 - Electro interface (external), AUX-IN, USB and iPod
I8E - Head unit Standard (gen 2)

My Octavia Mk III 2014 has this:
UE4 - Electro interface (external), AUX-IN and USB
I8D - Head unit Standard (gen 1)

So, what is UI4 and what are the differences between UE4? Can I replace some parts to add iPod (lighting) compatibility?

Hi

I have the same problem. It would be nice to select the titles on the car-screen and not on the phone when playing over bluetooth.

Maybe someone is answering this question.

Bye

Marcus
