Hi everyone, 

purchased a fabia vrs as a little project to buy and sort out and sell on, 

its got potential, just has its issues which need sorting, here are the fault codes and was wondering if anyone could help out, 

 

these are the symptoms first of all. 

It goes in and out of limp mode, either way it has no boost at all, in limp mode or out of limp mode. 

I have engine management light on and the abs light on, the handbreak light is also flashing at me. Also the speedo doesn't work.

I think you need a better code reader! It should give you which corner the ABS fault is at for one thing.

 

For the others, does the battery warning light come on when you switch the ignition on? If not, then there are 2 normal weight wires coming out the alternator that you should continuity check. Correcting a break there will probably clear the #17911 fault and might also clear one or more of the others.
