My memory card has decided to stop working in car, I plugged it in to the computer and it wanted me to re-format it..I done this but it says half way through 'can not finish the format' so I unplugged it, now when I plug it in to the computer nothing pops up/appears? Is it now completely worthless?

Probably it haswas failed mate.....

I must admit, it's not sounding hopeful.

 

If you want to put the card in the mail to me, I can have a go on my Linux machine and see if that can do it. Sometimes you can get lucky but I'm not holding out any great hope.

 

I get my cards from base.com. They do good brand-name cards at very reasonable prices. I've never had a problem with anything I bought from them and I recommend them to you.
