MIB STD2 PQ patch

Featured Replies

I'm planing to retrofit in an MIB STD2 PQ unit in a 2011 car. While googling this result pops up: https://www.briskoda.net/forums/applications/core/interface/file/attachment.php?id=89213

I can't find the post when searching the forum, so I'm hoping someone in here could help me, finding the guy who uploaded it an ordering a unit like this.

I'm sorry if I've misplaced the topic.

Thanks in advance.

There's a bit more to it than what you've found there. Apart from the different quadlock connections you'll also need a can decoder to make the various steering wheel controls and suchlike work. I've briefly fitted one in my 2009 Yeti and it's a very capable unit from what I can see, but I removed it until I have more time due to Bluetooth issues (I have factory Bluetooth and the unit also has Bluetooth, and they conflict), and when I have a bit more time I'll do it properly.

Feel free to message me if you want specifics.

Hello, you could tell me the page where to buy the card to patch a mib std2 and if there is the possibility of patching it even if component protection is activated
