XDS at Normal - ECO - SPORT

Featured Replies

Hi guys, can someone let me know if the XDS settings change between the different settings of NORMAL - ECO - SPORT on the VRS model?

I can see that VCDS allows changing the value of XDS from 0,1,2 and that by default it is on 0 (I think I have that right) - but wouldn't it make sense that that changes when you go from NORMAL to SPORT ? Or does that value stay the same throughout those "In Car" settings?

In general do the "In Car" settings actually make changes in a similar fashion to VCDS? And if so , when you are looking at the settings in VCDS are you looking at the settings as they are set for "Normal" mode?

Hope I explained that well. It makes sense in my head :-)

On a similar note - if you have a map done on the ECU, how does that affect the 3 "In Car" settings? Are they all overwritten by the map or are each of the settings mapped different? In other words with a map done will the "In Car" settings still change driving characteristics?  Or are you left with just the single map setting that has been applied?
