Caught a great sunset down at Exmouth today

Featured Replies

Sunset was great, camera was just a bit pants. :D These were taken on smallest size, but highest resolution. Not "too" bad for a 2.1MP pocket camera. :D Tried to get / use the car in shot where possible. :)

Constructive criticism like, "They're 5hite!" is more than welcome!:thumbup:

Also, check out this video as well. :D No sound, but this is one of the chaps off the local website from down here. Car always attracts attention when this is going on. :D

Crazy to think they're from an afternoon in February! Global warming eh? ;)

Good shots, given the operator and equipment J :P

Yeah, nice one indeed. See you managed to squeeze the motor in as well (just to make the sunset look that bit more beautiful. :D )

Yeah, I tried to get arty farty with the last two - used the roof as a mount for the penultimate shot, then got on my knees by the back door to get the last one.... I sense a misquote coming.... :D

I think I need a new camera though - Something that does 800*640 at a good resolution. :)

Jason,

You can buy the Fuji Finepix range (old model) F610 for stupid money nowdays. It is 6 mega pixel and Auto everything. You can set the exposures manually if preferred. Great for ameteur photographer. Look at these for examples.

Cool. Might see when Dad gets rid of his posh Canon one - He's always buying new SLR digitals. :D I like my Nikon Coolpix 2500 though. Convenient, small, and is also auto everything. :) Links well with my PC too.
