Featured Replies

Megs soft wash gel is my current shampoo

Smells like almonds

Foams lovely

And leaves the surface slick without stripping lsp

Will be going onto megs mirror bright shampoo next wash (next week) which has been getting rave reviews

Also tried megs wash and wax very handy if in a rush and smells nice

Gold class so so smell good foam left surface very slick and non stripping properties

Megs nxt shampoo can't describe the smell but chemically

Good foam and contains polymers

As you can guess i am a meguiars fan

The britemax shampoo is one of my favorites, along with Defintive Wax & Dooka Wash.

Britemax is one of the slickest shampoos I've ever used. Stephen ( Samuir1974) swears by the stuff too!

Car looks great btw - stunning results from you detailing and product selection.

As Karl has said - i've been a big fan of the Britemax Cleanmax for a long long time.

The Britemax range is very underrated indeed. Fortunately Simon at iShine stocks them locally for me.

Most recent shampoo i tested was in the Xmas calendar selection - Dooka Wash and it was very very good also. :)

Dooka wash, ODK, (EZ supercharger I've used but definitely want more) & BH Auto Wash will be my next purchases to try out, you can never have enough shampoo & with summer fast approaching, you've got to always have a clean motor :D

Dooka Wash, Gtechniq Gwash and Autofinesse Lather all excellent....nice and slick, pH neutral, free rinsing with no silly gloss enhancers/waxes left behind.....oh and all smell good too.

cheers

I used Britemax Cleanmax on maintenance washes and the benefits of polymers/enhancers.

Just ordered some Car-Chem 1900:1 bulk for the summer season - see how it goes...

TBH I never really thought about the Shampoo, I have always used Autoglym shampoo/conditioner.

Would the Britemax be noticeably better at the job over the AG ?

I think AG shampoo is actually very good - dont see much point changing if you are happy?

I'm testing CarChem based on its great dilution ratio and low costs (£20 for 5L)....primarily.

I keep going back to BH Auto Wash.  We're in a hard water area so I use 2 tsp per big bucket but it suds up nicely - enough to make washing slick but not too much that you end up with water marks.

BH Auto Wash and BSD are my current go to products for a maintenance wash on the Superb but on my wife's Deep Impact blue Fiesta CG Citrus Gloss shampoo and CG Speed Wipe work really well together.  CG products are always nose pleasing too :)

First test and impressions on the Car-Chem Shampoo - BRILLIANT!

Great dilution ratio, very slick..... maybe not as sudsy as i would like;

but overall something i will use more of - especially at the price.

(£19.99 for 5L plus P&P - special offer started at Easter bank holiday)

Washed the vRS on Sunday & used EZ Superchargerd Hyper shampoo, forgot how good this stuff is B) It foams up well, proper sudsy too & its very slick, I used around 1oz in the wash bucket  good job I ordered a 1 litre bottle during the EZ Easter sale so got enough to last me. Definitely will use again & again.
