I have a Skoda Octavia 1.9 TDI 2003 model.

The car either takes a crank or does not take crank. when it takes the crank than engine start on the first shot.. if it does not the battery light dims and rest not. Sometime there is a problem with car lock system. 

I understand if the battery is poor, engine takes many weak crank to start ?

recently there was a problem with wiper relay 377 which i replaced but this problem persist.
