VAG-COM codes - help required

Featured Replies

Just got my Vag Com lead and had a fiddle today. I'm looking to turn off the annoying seat belt chime (not the light), un-lock all the doors with 1 press on the key-fob and auto-lock the doors when moving and unlock when ignition off. I always considered myself good with computers, but this has really stumped me. If someone could PLEEEEEEEEEASE help me.

Cheers

Matt

P.s. It's a 53 plate superb PD130

Easiest way to stop the bing-bong for the seat belts is to lif tthe seat up to its highest setting then disconnect the connector ;) I spent ages with VAG-COM trying to disable it, you can turn off th elight in the instrument settings but not the bing-bong.

Cheers, I'll try that. Still need the codes/instructions to the others if anyone is out there??

Registered or unregistered VAG-COM, what software Release, and what interface lead? Using Ross-Tech's HEX+CAN USB interface and Release 512.1, it is easy to see what channels to change and how to do it. The functions you want to change should be in Module 46 - Central Convenience. Having selected that module further select Adaptation - 10 which is a button under Advanced Functions. Scroll through the various Channels and see what VAG-COM says about each. For my 2002 Octavia 4X4, Channel 03 is Auto Lock (ie the doors lock at 15kph). Stored value 0 is OFF; stored value 1 is ON. Channel 4 is Auto Unlock (ie the doors unlock when the ignition key is removed). Stored value 0 is OFF; stored value 1 is ON. Other channels include Interior Monitoring, Unlock/lock horn, unlock/lock blinks, and alarm horn. (Just because they are shown doesn't necessarily mean that the functions are available.) I would guess that the Superb has lots more than th Octavia. Make a note of the original settings before playing - then have fun changing a few.

Have you had a read the VAG-COM manual and had a look at all the info on Ross-Tech's site below?
