I want to change my foglight and curvelights to LED. I just want to know the best way to change them. 

I have a Octavia vrs tsi 2014. Please se foto.

I used the tool in the boot to remove the black trim beneath the foglight.

 

Then you have a black cover over each of the lights. There is a gap on this cover that you can feel, and use a screw driver to pop the cover off.

 

The bulb itself just twists out (I seem to remember) and is easy to swap.

 

Now the sweary bit. Putting those covers back on. Take a good look at the cover and have a good feel around the bulb and you should get an idea of how it clips back

This is how it looks on driverside. It looks like I have to go from under or upper? Or do I have till remove the front?

 

Put your hand through the hole and feel upwards. You should be able to feel the clips holding the bulbs in. Pop those off with a screwdriver and then you can change the bulbs.

Took me a little while to do the first side, but once I had it worked out the second side was a lot quicker.

I think th best way is to go in through the wheel arch cover or up on a ramp and remove the under tray 

 

Loads of room and you'll leave the skin on your hands and fingers.......

Much easier with a car lift.

the osram ones in the video look good but are rather expensive

You need 4 x H16

 

Make sure you don't get the '5202' type H16's - they're totally different:

 

 

The type shown on the left is what you want. Try Ali Express or eBay etc...
