How do I check if my Columbus maps in my Octavia are up to date?

Press and hold the "Setup" button until you see "Version Information" or the unit cycles through to the third developer menu and look in there. It'll tell you what maps version you're running.

In my superb I have RNS510 system.  updated the map to the west europe v14. Is that possible to add the rest of the europe to the system because I have the DVD with east map as well and I want to use Croatia map.

You can use the disc in the machine without copying (and overwriting) the existing maps. Just don't copy when it asks you and simply keep the disc in while you need to use East Europe.
