Had a great day at work today. We spent the morning fooling arround on the training area In an ATMP.

Well It was fun for about an hour but I got cold and I let one of my juniour ranks play about a bit. Half hour later he called to tell me he had tried to swim it across a local lake, but he had sunk it!!

I took our recovery truck to the lake, when I got there he was just sat on the small bit of roll cage that had not sunk. When I got the ATMP out, I discovered he had not put the swim plugs in!!!

We were lucky as he never cut the engine before it sank, but it still runs just, so next week we will mainly be getting rid of all the water from the fuel.

Good point though, its a audi engine, so good on the VAG side!! May have some photos from cam phone soon too.
