Drove up that route about 3years ago , in the summer sunshine, cracking drive & scenery.

Competition ?

 

 

Just been driving a fairly mundane spec'd 1.5 TSI with a 6 speed DSG virtually new out of the box Top Car hire car. Took it all around Bulgaria mountainous regions, twisty alpine stuff,but in lovely sunny dry weather admittedly, found it a very poised and well handling car  having much fun with quickish blasts on the twisty mountain runs. Covering over 2000 km in 14days. Surprising  Really enjoyed the drive, on superb motorway 140kmh stuff to very potholed country / rural stuff in which the ride was brilliant on 18" alloys.

 

All in all a great two weeks driving for me and the missus. 

 

So We are sure the R T-ROC would be much fun to own.

Interesting comparison.

Wish VW had put the Polo GTi Engine & DSG in the T- Cross R line as an option.
