Just joined 1974 S100

Recommended Posts

Just joined the forum after buying an S100.

Hopefully look to pick a few brains........especially in the spares department.

Any ideas on where my first port of call should be regarding front and rear screen seals and a roll cage?

Cheers

Welcome along, that was a nice find!  You should find the historic section helpful anyway.  https://www.briskoda.net/forums/forum/30-rwd-skodas-and-historics/

Cheers, I've been lurking on historic section.  Be nice to know how many S100 owners are on the site.

Can anyone advise if there a register for each of the models?  Be handy to know who to get in contact with directly.

Cheers.

Alas, looks like my brief sojourn into classic Skoda ownership will soon draw to a close.

Thiefbay beckons.

If the car/project sells I'll certainly point new owner in the forum's direction.

Cheers

The Inland Revenue have unfortunately forced my hand.

I chased this car for almost a year ...... then bought it when Graham got the shell rolling, unfortunately with 3 other cars currently under restoration it's become a bridge too far given the taxman has come calling.

Nothing has put me off, I'll have to move on one other car also and it just became a decision on what I'd ultimately like and have to keep given the money I've thrown at them.

Probably too much money and time invested in the others.  Still, a sad day never the less.

I'll certainly consider the classified route on forum, many thanks.

Only concern is it's probably too far removed from standard 'classic' Skoda given the modifications carried out.  It's running slicks on 10" Gp1 fitment technomagnesio alloys on the rear with 8's on the front.

Maybe appeal to a wider audience on Thiefbay and Turbosports where it made it's debut with Graham.  Lot of work with suspension carried out but needs taken to next level.  Suzuki Swift 1300 twincam motor with 5 speed Skoda gearbox and adaptor plate etc etc etc.  Basically a kit of parts............I'm sure you get the picture.

I'll give it some thought over next day or 2, down in Warwickshire for car show today.

Thanks again, Mark.
