Amp battery wiring

Featured Replies

Ok so I know this has been asked a gazillion times but I cannot get the scuttle tray off despite watching numerous videos and reading threads on it. Mine is totally stuck. I have tried with full force to prize it off and it will not budge. It slides from left to right but won't unclip or lift off at all

Is there any other routes/grommets I can use? I can't see any?

I did see one thread where a chap wired his off a panel just underneath the pedals. It seems this is my only choice. Anyone have any more info on which terminal to wire the live feed to on this panel.

Cheers all

You need to get a set of plastic trim removal tools and when you have them you need to get under the edge of the scuttle panel next to the screen then prise upwards they will pop up but be careful not to put excessive force as you could crack the screen. The yer way is to lift the front edge up under the rubber seal that pulls off, then see if it will prise up from there.

I manged to get the thing out. Christ almighty that was a days work getting it all wired up haha. It is seriously grippy that scuttle panel. Getting it out the groove was a pain.

Had a pretty productive day tho.

Got head unit and mic wired up

Wired up the amp and sub cleaned out the leaves in the scuttle tray too. There was a mountain of leaves under there!

Changed front and rear speakers and tweeters

Changed gear lever gaitor

Changed side light lenses

Changed coolant bottle

My hands are shredded to bits tho.

Absolutely love this car tho! I'm getting 65mpg one most runs!
