Intermittent electrical problems

I own a 2011 Octavia Mk2 2.0Tdi 4x4. Back in December last year the bulb warning light came up on the dash. For the 1st few months this went off and on sporadically on every journey. Then the indicators (only on the dash and not outside) started flashing at double speed but only for the 1st couple of times. My car is currently at a Skoda garage and a new BCM (Body Control Module) has been ordered.

Have other owners experienced similar intermittent electrical problems? and if so has the replacement of this part solved said problems? The cost is already North of £500 so i'm getting worried.
