Hi Folks 

looking for a bit of help I have a 2015 Octavia vrs diesel and I'm looking for a rear diffuser .

I looked at the Rieger site but I'm a little confused as the correct part number for my car as it appears the petrol and diesel are different.

Just wondering if anyone has bought one or can shed some light on it for me .

I saw them on eBay and in the feedback  they didn't get very complimentary comments re finish and quality .

I don't think there should be a different one for the diesel model - the petrol already takes into account having 2 exhausts, so, the diesel with single exhaust should fit just the same.

 

Worse case scenario, it is under and out of sight, so just cut any part that interferes with mounting, but I am pretty sure they are the same fitting.

Or the genuine cup edition diffuser  

If I remember correctly, the diffuser in diesel has one fastener more than petrol version because diesel has only one exhaust outlet on the left and a dummy plastic on the right side.

So diesel the version should fit to both petrol and diesel.

Actually mine came with an extra hole and screws that left me scratching my head what they were for... Now it makes sense, but also proves they are the same.

 

Reading on another thread, it seems the only difference on the diesel version is it comes with a pipe to redirect the exhaust from the diffuser.
