Hi All,

 

Just been playing with VCDS on my new to me octavia VRS that I picked up yesterday and I'm a little confused by the corning fogs, when I turn left the offside fog lights and vice versa with the nearside. 

Is this normal? I did follow the guide on here. My expectation was the I would turn left and the nearside fog would light? not the offside?

 

I've compared the Long Code with the Autoscan I did before I made any changes and its identical so I'm assuming I didn't actually change anything?

 

Any comments or advise would be much appreciated!

You are correct, the fog light that lights up should be the same side as the indicator would be. 

 

Anything changed in the adaptions ions will not change the longcode, don't suppose you saved an ad map of the controller before coding? 

No unfortunaltey I wasn't that sensible, it's been along time since I've plugged in and bothered to try and change anything with VCDS. 

 

 Hopefully I'll find where I went wrong...

 

 

SOLVED - I got Abbiegelicht links and Abbiegelicht rechts set the wrong way round. Note to self don't play when tired!
