Featured Replies

Hi . I got this car with throttle response. Tick over only . Changed the pedal and throttle body . Is there anything else. Or will it need programming to the car . Fault code p2122 and p2127

P2122/008482 - Accelerator Position Sensor (G79): Signal too low

Possible Symptoms

  • MIL On

Possible Causes

  • Faulty Accelerator Pedal Assembly
  • Wiring Harness Issue for Accelerator Pedal Assembly

Possible Solutions

  • Inspect Throttle Pedal and Wiring Harness. See Factory Repair Manual.

Special Notes

The signal voltage for the Accelerator Pedal could be shared with other engine components, O2 sensors for example.

Some1 I got the car spent 2400 on it in skoda . Checked Ecu 3 times so I heard

Smells funny? as in a burning smell or possibly just a DPF regen?

When you sat ‘no response’ what exactly are the symptoms as you threw me when you said ‘when driving it’.

Is it just a lazy throttle pedal or does the throttle not work at all?

What did you use to scan the car? VCDS or something else? VCDS may bring up DTCs that other (cheaper) code reader will not show.

Hi . I've had garage look at it check all the wiring  . Changed ecu 3 times . It's came back now . With still no throttle response. Flashing glow plug light and engine management light on . Never had it on before .im going 02 sensors may egr valve . Or breaking for spares

It sounds me as an engine in "service mode".Have you checked a DPF as well as EGR parameters via VCDS?Diff.press, ash quantity,kilometers/miles since last regeneration etc..
