hi bought octavia vrs 2 months ago mk1 love the car having trouble now if i accelerate after 3000 rpm ref just goes up but not boosting is it safe to drive like this just keeping it under that so car  still going fine just once i boost what can i do what can i look for

Slipping clutch?

@boeta27 Presuming that in "...after 3000 rpm ref just goes up..." "ref" is a typo for "rev", then I'd agree with @sammyhale30 that the clutch is slipping.

 

The good news is that that could happen if the brake/clutch hydraulic fluid level is low.
