Problems playing music via SD card

Featured Replies

Tired of using my iPod I have tried to play my music via the SD card option. I like the features, such as images and the ability to see tracks and albums, and the sound quality is better, but....the sounds drops every few seconds on any album or track I play. To the extent that I am back to using the iPod. I can't find anything in the manual or troubleshooting. Anybody with ideas? Is is an electrical issue, or connectivity, perhaps? It's a very good quality SD card and the transfers are excellent plus, the problem doesn't occur if I use it play in a laptop or other, fixed, device. Thanks!

I guess people will need to know...

What car have you got? What head unit is fitted? Any other information to make it easier to help?

Yes, I realise I forgot that! It's a 2016 Octavia and it's a standard fitting, no internet but bluetooth, etc. All else works fine.

Hello there....

My understanding that basic sd cards with x10 speeds or less will run on older skoda models acroos the all ranges. i have a octy 09 and have tried qulity but no joy but a past discussion confirms the reccommendation. As for your much newer car......?????
