Outlook

With Orange email closing at the end of May, I was wondering whether I would still get mail. I have an additional gmail account and use outlook rather than webmail or website based mail. I've set up a forwarding within outlook for mail from orange to gmail but I'm not sure whether I'll still get mail. It could take ages to go to every site that I've signed up to with orange and change it as I've had it for decades. Any thoughts ? TIA.

No, EE are closing all of the old Orange, Freeserve.co.uk and Wanadoo.co.uk emails.

After the date they've given, you will cease getting mail, and any emails sent to those addresses will bounce as unknown.

I would ensure bank, shopping, financial and anything critical is done ASAP as anything needing email confirmation/password reset will leave you locked out of the account.

It did takes ages to change mine - I'm still finding the odd thing I haven't changed. Gagetman is correct in that as at 31/5 they will turn the servers off and the mail will be gone.
