Hello I know I'm late to the party but I want to lower my Octavia 2 vrs but still want it to be practical for every day but fed up of it looking like it's on stilts what are my options please 

The cheapest way is generally springs but this will depend on the mileage and condition of your current shocks.

I've just bought it so not sure if it's ever had any new shocks but it's done 125k 

I have upgraded my Suspension on my FL Octavia VRS. 

 

I bought bilstien B4 sport dampers from Damian and a set of eibach pro springs that I got from demon tweaks ( I beleive Damian can supply the springs aswell but demon tweaks had a fatastic deal on at the time ) see my built thread for pic and my thoughts.

this has lowered the car a further 15-20 mm from standard and tightened everything up in the handling department.

for me it is the perfect setup as the car is my daily driver and I don't want to go 5 miles out of my way on the way to work to avoid speed humps

Thanks for reply I will look into those dampers and springs as didn't want to go down the coilover route
