Had a bit of a rattle when I switched the engine on this morning - thought it might be air con related so switched the ECON switch on and off - the noise went on and off and eventually stopped.

Is this a 'dry compressor' or something as I haven't had the aircon on much in the last couple of months ? I know that you are supposed to run it throughout the year ?

had few probs with air con comperssors the clucth seems to brake off or wear i think this is due to comperssor sezing

Is this a common fault on the Fabia's too, as it might explain why my compressor is no longer engaging? I assume it requires a new compressor - have you got a price price for the part and labour?
