Newbie Question

Featured Replies

Hello, Yes I'm a Newbie, but I noticed something in the boot of my fabia mk2, looks like there's a rest and pins for an extra parcel shelf about half way up the boot.. I'm guessing its for a fake floor thingy that you can buy. Am I wrong?

Try this.

That's handy that it does that, it looks like a second level to have it flat. When I pick it up Friday I'll show you what I mean :)

Cheers for that, but i know what you mean.

Its just a lower level so you can put slightly larger parcels on the shelf. You can also slide it behind the seats, in an upright position if need be to accommodate certain loads. Keep the weight limit in mind though along with the risk of things flying through the centre of the car during an emergency stop!

The shelf sliding back against the seat is a good idea, the different parcel shelf thing seems a bit silly, cant see people using that. Still at least I know what its for now :) thanks

I only found out the other day that my VRS is an ex demonstrator.

Hayselden of Doncasters, suppose it explains some of the options on it
