Skoda sales figures

Skoda sold 37,687 cars in the UK last year, giving it a 1.5 per cent wedge of the market, a 4.5 per cent increase over 2001's figures, a sixth successive year of rising sales and an incredible 290 per cent increase in sales since 1996. The Fabia was Skoda's best-selling model - just under 22,000 sold - and the new Superb out-performed predictions with 983 sold. Diesel models accounted for nearly 49 per cent of Skoda sales.
