Security Access Code?

Featured Replies

Pulling my hair out trying to get into the engine module to adapt the idle speed.  I can't click the Test or save button so it seems I need to enter an SA key.  I tried 12345, nope, sat 10 mins, tried 12233, nope...

Honestly, I'm a little confused with Login codes, KWP, SA etc.

Got a HEX-CAN running latest VCDS.

Cheers,

Thanks, I'll try this over lunch.  Hovering over the fields brings up the tech tips, but unless I'm being stupid, the "000000-999999" field doesn't flash up the code to enter.

27971 did the trick. It was accepted by engine ECM.  Sadly, I still cannot make adaptations :/ It appears I have one of 'those' ECMs that won't accept changes. Gutted.  I wonder if this the same thing stopping the Shark STS from reading my ECU?
