Price difference between 18 & 19"" tyres

Featured Replies

Whilst I haven't checked every brand, I costed up Michelin PS4's in R18/225/40 @ £104 or R19/225/35 @£171. All prices are "all in" ie. what you actually pay

WTF ? how can that price difference be justified ?

Tell m about it

I'm in the same boat as I have just sold my 18s and are moving to 19s..

Luckily I don't have to pay for the tyres to be fitted as my mates dad own a established garage so a pack of beers seals the deal

Fwiw I am fitting Uniroyal RainSport 3s which are a great tyre with great ratings

I've picked them up for £129 a corner which has a bit of discount.... A wet grip and C economy ratings with a rim protector.

Used them on my old series 2 and prefered them to the GYs Eagle F1s that I had in before.
