Spider in my cluster!! :0D

Featured Replies

Noticed the other day I've got a small curled up dead spider at the bottom of my instrument cluster! Is there a way/area of blowing or sucking it out that anyone can think of or if not is it difficult to get the cluster out to and then can you take the glass off?

removals dead easy, (search for here maxidot removals, bulbs etc.) but basically lower steering wheel, prise off trims around cluster. reveals 2 torx screws to remove, then unclip cluster.(push an old cd into gap above cluster/ below dashboard. cluster will slide forward. pull it clear and release multi plug on back.

Cheers chaps, I'll give it a whirl. :)

If you still have a Warranty you might be able to get a Live spider from the dealers

As far as I know there doing a MkII Widow maker, this version has 2 left legs and 6 right legs and can be Identified by only going round in circles

Just like Skoda customer Services

No, once I've cleared it out I was thinking of modding it by updating it with a compatable Onestar from a new shape Vauxhall Astra. Gives me portable web access.
