badges!

Featured Replies

Here's a question.

Fancy changing the badges on the rear of my Superb to make it a little individual.

It's on 17" Solids, and it's been Jabba'd - what do you guys think of these options?

1) leave it alone!

2) fit new long, thin VRS badge under SUPERB badge in place of existing long, thin 1.9 TDI badge

3) take existing TDI badge (with red D and I) and colour all black script in red to match, in a nod to the VAG badges with red T, D and I letters

4) fit something else like an audi S line badge

5) take them all off

what do you reckon?

Spent time and money on beer and women instead of badges.

definitely dont put audi badges on your skoda.

Leave them alone. A Superb is a classy car. Dont spoil it

I agree!:) ...also with the beer & ladies:thumbup:

Whip em off for a clean look.

Take them off mate, it looks so much better, I have taken mine off and it looks so much cleaner!!

Why not put Ferrari badges on?

Or lamborghini badges

Or lamborghini badges
Good call Gav, that would be my choice tbh.

How about lada badges :thumbup::D

How about re badging with 1.2 HTP or similar?

Then watch for the  faces when you leave em standing

I know that the motor is a little dirty but here is some food for thought - de-badged rear end:

Superb looking motor there mate, what are those things on the bumpers at the corners?

Superb by name and Superb by nature, LOL!!

They are Hella LED Side markers, all the Volvos have them on and these are retro fit aftermarket ones that we sell at Hella. They look great at night and are a great safety feature, I have fitted them to all the cars I have owned.

Cool, are they easy to fit and what is the cost?

May be interested in doing this myself

If you are interested then drop me a pm or email me at [email protected], I work for them so I can sort you out with a set no worries.

They come in 3 different backgrounds black, silver or orange. In order to fit them you have to cut holes in your bumpers - depending on where you want them - wiring them up to your side-lights.

The LEDs have to be amber in colour by law as it's a 'Marker / Position' lamp.

Looking good there!

I'd remove them, and just leave the Skoda badge in the centre. I've done it on the Fabia and I think it looks nicer, more balanced, plus it's easier to clean!

If you must change, yet retain some badges, I'd plump for No.3. I'd certainly avoid No.4 :thumbdwn:

Steve

Baker21 - you are officially a picture whore - but its a nice car so I'll let you off.

I agree that you should whip em off for the clean look - leave people wondering what the hell it is you've got!

SJFISHER67 - Thanks for that comment mate.

Tom_vRS - Pic whore? Who me? LOL!!! I have been called many things but never that before!!
