Octavia III stage 1 remap

Featured Replies

I've been on here once before regarding a stage 1 remap for a mkIII vrs. I pick up a Superchips bluefin handset later on today, this will increase the torque to roughly 490 nm. I'm just wondering whether the standard clutch, etc will be sufficient or will I need to upgrade anything? Thanks in advance

After speaking to the number of tuners I've decided to upgrade the clutch first.   Gone for the Sachs performance clutch 550+nm.  Fitted £800 for the idea of cost.

The other option is to go with a low torque map and see how the clutch performs.

I didn't have one in the end. I've probably done less than half the mileage that you've done, so I'll keep an eye on it. Cheers
