Hi, 

I need to put our 2005 Uk registered Fabia on German plates.  This will necessitate changing the fog lights to the other side of the car (amongst other things). Anyone know if the loom can simply be tapped into and extended. This is (strangely enough) the newest vehicle I've owned, I've heard that on some vehicles cutting the loom might alter resistances and cause problems. I'm guessing that this is not the case with something so basic but thought I'd check before going ahead.

No problem, I have linked both my rear fogs together and both the reversing lights together, so link a wire across and cut the wire going to the non-required fog lamp.
