Help! - central locking, electric windows, interior light, door open dash light, electric mirrors not working

Featured Replies

So I went to open the car this morning and the remote unlocking didn't operate on any of the doors. So I opened the driver door with the key. All doors can be opened manually by pulling the door handles. The manual lock/unlock button doesn't operate them though. I also noticed that none of the electric windows operate, neither do the electric mirrors, nor the instrument panel door open warning light, nor the interior light. I've searched extensively... Nowhere does such an emphatic failure of internal electrical components appear. Is there a chance it might be total failure's of the car's convenience module? I've checked fuses and they're fine. Really appreciate any wise words. Cheers

I would check to see if there is any communication with the CCM via vcds. Or it could be water ingress into drivers control module on the bottom of the window motor.

Thanks for this, I'm in the process of booking her in for a diagnostic. In the meantime I'd better get that door card off...... Nothing like a challenge!

Cheers

I'm in Rhydyfelin if you need any tips or help mind?

First check again fuses 37 and 38 which are common to central locking and electric mirrors.

Take off the door card on the drivers door and unplug the connector at the bottom of the window controller and check for corrosion and missing pins like this:-
