Loving the Snow Monster but......

Featured Replies

The S/M is nearly a month old and here is an update. Well tow bar fitted and it tows like a dream. Caravan? What caravan??? Thank you so much for the members that recommended Phil Taylors tow bars. They were brilliant and a really professional job. Pam also made a wonderful cup of tea x 2. VCDS set to australlian and now have big MPH and also cruise control speed display enabled and thats great. Had to have a shoey of prosescco to celebrate!!

We are so pleased with the car. much better than the Pug 3008. ride, handling quality, seating, leg room and towing are all amazing. The headlights make night seem like day again, had to fit upgraded bulbs to the Pug to even see 3ft in front of it. I do miss the panaramic roof. They tell me we have a 60l tank. Really? Not managed anywhere near on refueling and only 10 miles on MFD. Challange is on....how low can we go. My only gripes have been the KPH and no cruise control speed display which have been rectified with VCDS. We can live with the smaller boot and have brought a roof box for our annual trip to the south of france. The climate control dials can be difficult to see when driving. For those still unsure about smartlink, its worth every penny and easier than the standard voice control. Also brought Yeti fitted rear window blinds, boot sil protector and have door sil protectors on order.

One minor problem is the oil service now indicator. this appeared after 350 miles and I reset this via 0:0 button and MFD settings. It has reappeared again after another 350 miles. I have noticed the days return to 365 after reset but the milage is showing 00000. Ideas??? do i need to reset in VCDS???

New cars are nice but this car is practical and has ticked about every box. People are generally shocked when they drive it and see inside. "oh it is nice" . I have replied  Yeah and we are paying *** a month, "Your @@@@ing joking." Tell me how much was your Hyundai again ??? lol.
