I downloaded the latest software update for my Ammundsen unit,when extracting from Skoda it freezes near the end on turkey, saying not enough disk space,so thought i was clever & re formatted the card slowly, then used Winrar to extract the files to the card,just when i thought i'd cracked it,in the dying seconds on Turkey it failed again,same reason,not enough disk space,i've seen some members suggesting format in 4k clusters,but there's no option in win7 for that,this is frustrating,why do Skoda release updates that won't fit on their card,(which has to be used)i've backed up the previous version,so if all fails i can go back to that

The option to select cluster size is present on our Win 7 PC (and on our Win8.1 PC and on our WIn10 tablet).

 

I right click on the SD card in Explorer, then click on Format. In the box that pops up there are three boxes at the top - the third one is title "Allocation unit size" just click on the downward arrow in this box and select 4096 bytes.

Happy to report that it worked this time was worried for a second,as the Ammundsen unit took a little while to start,but now up & running again,thanks for your help
