Hello Everyone,

Adam from Leicestershire reporting in!

I'm joining the forums with my first Skoda ... and first turbocharged petrol vehicle! both milestones in one go!

Just bought myself a 2003 Octavia Elegance T with the 20v Turbo 1.8 Engine,

To be honest, i didn't expect it to be as quick as it is ... very fun car to drive.

Suberb170, i bought it from a dealer in Leicester, i saw it going through auto trader online, 12m MoT, new clutch and flywheel, 100k miles, all its power and only a grand! just needs minor detailing here and there (minor wear and tear scratches, only light ones though) but NO rust AT ALL! kind of a lucky find i suppose. oh... and the last 3 digits of the plate are CEO lol

One of the scourges of Greek roads are abandoned motorcycles. Some they have suffered major damage and are not being repaired, some because owners have abandoned them because they no longer want them, other they are stolen, etc. The process to be removed from the from the State takes from 3 months to 3 years. Hi! I'm in need of some help please. My Octavia estate sat for 8 months unused. The battery went flat (AGM Varta) and doesn't charge. I got the car started with a different battery and then swapped in the dead battery to see if it would start charging. BUT, now the engine was running I needed to move the car a bit and found that the gear stick won't go into reverse gear. It can select 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th but not reverse. I've ordered up a new AGM battery (due in a couple of days) but this reverse

Hi Everyone, I have been investigating how I can replace the decorative trim pieces on the console of the O4 (see attached picture (version I would like). The easy part has been figuring out the general part numbers, however I get stuck on the specifics. I know the O4 has two technical variants; one with stock leds and one with RGB leds, and that there is a multitude of different codes for all the different colours/textures. This might be just a coincidence. But I have just had a new windscreen fitted following a rock being thrown up by a lorry's wheels hitting it, which left a small chip, which after a few days became a long crack and was growing. The screen was replaced last week, and yesterday I discovered the seat was not responding to the controls. I cannot see any fuse listed in the owner's manual which states it supplies power to the seats. The driver's seat is working as usual, which made me think it must b

Hi all, I noticed a few forums posted over a decade ago, but unfortunately didn't seem to relate. I've got an issue where the cd auto changer had a fault. I pressed the eject button which spat the magazine out. I checked over the cds and everything seemed fine. After reseating the mag, the stereo no longer recognises the magazine, and says "no magazine". Since then I've tried to eject the mag, but had no luck. Has anyone had any issues with this? I removed the autochanger in the idea of fitt
