Thats the direction you should be running away.

We tested a load of their kit and didn't think much of it at all.

I'm no expert on Chinese linguistics, but I'm sure that a fairly accurate pronunciation of the company's name is: "Who are we?"

Stick with branded goods if it's a network that requires uptime and no grief IMHO. Cheap stuff works ok sometimes, but it tends to cause grief pretty soon after :(

They are coming BIG into the telecoms market, replacing old switches with packet based software solutions, in a whole host of countries. Massive, massive company, thousands of employees. If they are doing anything like their telecoms stuff in the networking market, expect price drops across the market.

Unfortunately I havent tried any of their kit yet, that's to come later this year.

Have two routers on trial at present. The first thing that happened was that the telnet prompt reset itself back to the "you've no password set" prompt. Not a very good start, but we're going to play with it.
