does the octavia dash split in 2 from the clocks up? it looks like it does and is it the same as some audis?

i'm thinking of doing a custom install and changing the top of the dash and this would make things easier!!

On early models, the lower half of the dash is a different colour to the top half. So, I would guess that it is in 2 halves.
