Another spring bites the dust

Recommended Posts

13 months after the last one, my OSR spring goes again. This time it went ping and made an awful racket when driving so was a little more obvious. I know have a golf spring instead of the Euros one. Speaking of Euros, awaiting phone call as just over a year or less than 15,000 miles is poor.

Interesting, mine is now just over 5 years old and have had all 4 replaced. Front OS first last year, tyre fitter found it when replacing a tyre I told them to  replace the other side also, then the rear OS this year found when having MOT, replaced the other side as well.

I guess they just aren't strong enough for the cars. My wife's golf suffered the same fate. They were replaced with eibachs, wish I had done that now, but the spring only has to last 18 months and then I can get a new car
